The Maylin X Dr Jinah Yoo clinic on Weymouth Street, London offers a Korean Aesthetic, Laser & Medical Dermatology Service.
The clinic uses a holistic approach to treat its patients’ skin concerns, offering a range of exclusive treatments which are brand new to the UK and popular among Korean celebrities.
The Apollo Interiors team fitted out two floors of a multi-tenanted building on Weymouth Street to create Dr Yoo’s new dermatology clinic.
Working with concept designs that our client had created, our team developed detailed plans for building regulations and the infrastructure installation.
Despite the available space being quite limited, we managed to fit in nine treatment rooms across the two floors, each with its own specific requirements.
In order to make the compact reception area feel more spacious, the adjacent treatment rooms were fitted with floor to ceiling bespoke Crittal-style glass panels and doors. This helps to optimise the natural light and increase the sense of space in this area. The attractive ceiling detailing also draws the eye down the corridor to the treatment rooms.
To create texture, timber panelling on the back reception wall was colour-matched to the walls. This helps to add interest without dominating the design scheme.
We really enjoyed working with Dr Yoo on this project and are very happy to see how busy the practice is every time we visit.
