Site Foreman – Role Profile
As a Site Foreman for Apollo Interiors Ltd you will be responsible for the safe and smooth running of our sites. In collaboration with the Project Manager you will oversee all works on site, scheduling contractors at the appropriate time within the project programme, supervising these works and ensuring that they are completed safely and within the required time frame.
You will be confident in ensuring that the sites you run operate safe working practices. You will deliver the required briefings and keep the correct documentation to meet all legal health and safety requirements. Previous experience of working as a foreman on medical or dental build sites will be of benefit.
Main responsibilities
Coordinate and supervise contractors on-site, liaising with Project Managers to ensure sufficient labour and required trades are on site to progress the build in line with the planned programme
Work closely with Project Managers to keep them abreast of on-site progress, queries and any issues that may arise
Order materials, arrange tool/equipment hire and secure any permits or licenses as required
Conduct safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety requirements are met
Check and prepare site reports, designs and drawings
Assess potential problems with a build and solve any that crop up
Consider risks and the ways in which to minimise these on-site
Maintain site records and keep on top of any paperwork

First Aid at Work
STMS
Technical requirements
Full, clean driving licence
Skills and personal requirements
Good communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Decision-making ability
Commercial awareness
Ability to motivate others
Teamworking skills
Good knowledge of building methods and regulations
Experience of working in the trades would be of benefit
